Howard Barnes, of Gerona Spain, has been named Chief Executive Officer of In Store Solutions sl with effect March the 1st.

As the CEO of In Store Solutions, Howard Barnes will oversee the company's strategic growth and will also manage its ongoing global operations. His main priorities are to focus on the launch of the Crystal brand in the rapidly evolving field of convergence technology and to solidify the position of In Store Solutions as a growing force in ecommerce and specialty retailing. Before joining In Store Solutions, Howard served for eight years with AIG as Managing Director of their development company in Spain where he initiated and developed office and industrial real estate projects valuing more than 350 million Euros. Prior to AIG, Howard served for nine years as the Regional Director for Colliers International in Central and Eastern Europe where he was charged with founding and establishing six regional companies in six different territories. Today, these companies have revenues in excess of 100 million USD and employ over 400 people. During that period, Howard also served for five years as a European Board member of Colliers International and for two of those years, as a Worldwide Board member.

Howard graduated from Cornell University with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations and from the University of Pennsylvania Law School with a JurisDoctor degree. He practiced law with the Washington DC law firm of Melrod, Redman & Gartlan prior to leaving the United States in 1991 for work and adventure abroad. Howard devotes his free time to his ever-expanding family including four children: Sasha (7), twins Lucas and Michelle (5) and Danielle (two months), his five dogs, four horses and an assortment of other animals which reside around the farmhouse that he shares with his wife, Jana.
