In Store Solutions signs a worldwide agreement with Skype
Gerona, October 1st, 2005 – In Store Solutions, a mass market manufacturer of peripherals and accessories for home & home office users under the pro|SERIES and TX - Think Xtra brand names, today announced the signing of a worldwide partnership agreement with Skype Technologies S.A.
The agreement is aimed at bringing to market a full range of Skype certified products which would appeal to consumers who are not yet familiar with the benefits of using Skype.
Under the agreement Skype software, which enables free Internet telephony for unlimited PC to PC calling, free minutes and a trial voicemail will be offered as a starter pack for new users within the product. The new products in the co-branded Skype certified range will give customers instant access to free worldwide Skype communications in an “out of the box” solution.
Skype is available for the Windows, Linux, Mac OS X and Pocket PC platforms, providing a simple, reliable and user-friendly communications tool that works in any location with an Internet connection. Skype users can communicate with friends, family, colleagues or fellow gamers with greater flexibility than ever before.
In Store Solutions and TX - Think Xtra will be launching the new Skype certified range officially at a press conference in Milan, Italy on October 12th and at Retail Vision Europe on October 18th - 20th.
